# Manage workspace settings

> Rename your workspace, change its link address and find its workspace ID.

**Settings**, under **Team & Settings** in the sidebar, opens **Workspace Settings**: your workspace's name, address and details. Owners and Admins can change them. Members and Viewers can only look.

## What's on the page

| Card | What it shows |

| **General Settings** | **Workspace Name**, **Link address** and **Description** |
| **Developer Info** | **Workspace ID**, and when the workspace was **Created** and **Last Updated** |

Select **Edit** next to a value to change it.

## Rename the workspace or change its address

1. Open **Settings** and select **Edit** next to any value.
2. Under **General**, change any of these:
   - **Workspace Name:** the name shown across the app, up to 100 characters.
   - **Link address:** the part of your dashboard address after `/w/`. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only, up to 50 characters.
   - **Description:** a short summary, up to 500 characters.
3. Select **Save changes**.

A link address another workspace already uses isn't accepted, so pick a different one. After a change, the dashboard moves to the new address. Bookmarks and shared links use the link address, so update any that use the old one.

## Use your own domain

To publish help articles on your own domain, such as help.example.com, connect the domain to a portal. See [Connect a custom domain to a portal](https://support.help.ai/portals/connect-a-custom-domain).

## Find your workspace ID

**Developer Info** shows the **Workspace ID** with a copy button. Include it when you contact support about this workspace.

## Delete a workspace

**Danger Zone** → **Delete Workspace** shows **Coming Soon**: you can't delete a workspace from the dashboard yet. To have one deleted, contact support from your account's email address, and include the workspace name and its **Workspace ID**.

Keep the **Link address** short and close to your company's name, such as `acme`. It's part of every dashboard link your team shares.
