## What's there

| Section | What you'll find |
| --- | --- |
| [Topics](https://learn.help.ai/topics) | A catalogue you can search and filter by **Subject**, **Age** (from **Ages 4 to 5** to **Ages 12 to 14**) and **Type** (**Concept**, **Method**, **Representation**, **Language** or **Thinking skill**) |
| [Labs](https://learn.help.ai/labs) | Interactive lessons, each built around a real object or system that works |

## How a lab works

A lab plays as a short film you can pause and scrub, then hands you the controls so you can try it yourself. Every lab sits on the topic it teaches.

| Lab | What you do |
| --- | --- |
| [Balance 3x + 5 = 20](https://learn.help.ai/labs/linear-equations) | On a 3D balance, take the same from both sides until x stands alone |
| [Why an LED needs a resistor](https://learn.help.ai/labs/led-resistor) | On a drawn circuit bench, turn up the voltage and see what too much current does |
| [Find the slowest step](https://learn.help.ai/labs/bakery-line) | In a live bakery line, add a machine and watch the bottleneck move |

<Tip>
Learn works in light and dark, on a phone or a big screen. Share a lab's address to send someone straight to it.
