# Track form performance

> See how many visitors finish each form, and where they skip it.

**Analytics** shows how often each form is submitted or skipped, so you can tell which forms work and which ones put people off.

## Open it

Open **Analytics** and select the **Forms** tab.

## Choose what to look at

- **All forms**, or one form.
- **All sources**, or one deployment.
- A date range: **Last 24 hours**, **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **Last 90 days** or **Custom range**. It starts on **Last 30 days**.

## The numbers

| Card | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Submitted** | Forms visitors sent |
| **Skipped** | Forms visitors skipped |
| **Subjects** | Visitors who submitted or skipped a form. It's added up per day or hour, so one visitor on two days counts twice. Read it as an upper bound. |
| **Completion rate** | Submitted ÷ (submitted + skipped) |

## Charts and breakdowns

- **Submissions over time:** submitted and skipped forms per day or hour, with subjects as a line. Select a day to look at just that day.
- **Form comparison** (with **All forms**): **Submitted**, **Skipped** and **Completion** for each form. Select a row to look at that form.
- **Triggers**, **Countries**, **Browsers** and **Device classes:** select a row to filter the whole page by it. Clear it from the filters shown above the cards.
- **Top pages:** the pages where visitors answered forms.

## How fresh the data is

The numbers update about every 10 minutes. The info icon beside the tabs shows how recent the data is.

## Act on what you see

- A low completion rate on a **Before chat starts** form: ask fewer questions, or turn on **Can be skipped**.
- Many skips from one trigger: try a later moment, such as **After N messages**.
- To read the answers themselves, see [Review and export form submissions](https://support.help.ai/forms/review-and-export-submissions).
- To change when a form shows, see [Show a form in the chat widget](https://support.help.ai/forms/show-a-form-in-the-chat-widget).

<Tip>
Change one thing at a time, such as the trigger or one question, then compare the completion rate before and after.
